FNU Hosts 2024 International Conference on Multiple Scales Dynamical Systems Theory and Applications

The 2024 International Conference on Multiple Scales Dynamical Systems Theory and Applications was held in Fuzhou from November 22nd to 25th. The event was hosted by Fujian Normal University (FNU) and organized by the School of Mathematics and Statistics and the Key Laboratory of Analytical Mathematics and Applications of the Ministry of Education.

President Wang Changping attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

Over 70 academic experts and scholars from more than 30 renowned universities worldwide attended the conference, including Leiden University in the Netherlands, RWTH Aachen University in Germany, Hasselt University in Belgium, University of York in Canada, Ohio University, The University of Alabama, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in the United States, Swinburne University of Technology in Australia, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Sichuan University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, East China Normal University, Central South University, Central China Normal University, Donghua University, Zhejiang Normal University, Jiangsu Normal University, Shanghai Normal University, Hangzhou Normal University, Fuzhou University, and Huaqiao University.

At the opening ceremony, President Wang Changping warmly welcomed all the distinguished scholars, experts, and guests. He then provided a concise overview of the development of the mathematics discipline at FNU and analyzed the current research status in the field of differential equations and dynamical systems. He expressed his hope that this conference would serve as an opportunity for intellectual exchange and the collision of ideas, to enhance communication and cooperation among peers, and to strive for advancing the development of the mathematics discipline to a new level.

It is reported that the conference featured a total of 25 academic reports, covering multiple scales dynamical systems, nonlinear analysis, and other cutting-edge hot issues.
