From December 19 to 27, a delegation of 22 faculty members and students from the School of Music at Fujian Normal University traveled to Minsk, Belarus, to take part in the "Chinese Culture Day – Happy Spring Festival Concert" and the "Hello, China" promotional event. The event was co-organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, and the Chinese Embassy in Belarus. With their exceptional artistic performances, the delegation successfully completed their mission, earning widespread acclaim from both Chinese and Belarusian audiences. Major media outlets, including Xinhua News Agency, People’s Daily Online, Guangming Daily, and Economic Daily, provided extensive coverage of the event.
On December 21, the opening concert was held at the Belarusian National Philharmonic Hall. The event was attended by Zhang Wenchuan, Chinese Ambassador to Belarus, and Anatoly Chernyavsky, Belarusian Minister of Culture, both of whom delivered speeches. The concert attracted an audience of over 700 attendees, who enjoyed a mesmerizing performance that celebrated the fusion of Chinese and Belarusian cultures. Faculty and students from the School of Music shared the stage with artists from the Central Academy of Drama, the Cangzhou Acrobatic Troupe, and the Belarusian National Opera and Ballet Theatre. Together, they presented a captivating program blending traditional and contemporary elements, showcasing the harmony between Eastern and Western cultures.
On December 23, the delegation performed again at the Molodechno Music Hall, where they also engaged in cultural exchanges with the local artistic community. These interactions fostered a deeper understanding and appreciation of Chinese culture among the Belarusian audience while strengthening cultural ties between the two nations.
